Celebrating 50 Years of Musical Excellence and Cultural Legacy

Honouring a Pioneer: Frank Rollock
Our journey begins with Frank Rollock - visionary, community leader, and founding force behind London All Stars Steel Band. At a time when steelpan was still fighting to be seen and heard in the UK, Frank saw more than an instrument. He saw possibility.
A disruptor in his own right, Frank launched Brixton’s first-ever carnival in the midst of social unrest, using music to bring people together when the world was pushing them apart. Through mentorship, cultural pride, and an unwavering belief in young people, he laid the foundation for what would become one of the UK’s most iconic steel bands.
Frank’s legacy lives on in every note we play and every young person we empower through our music.
From Streets to Global Stages
From royal events and Notting Hill Carnival mainstages, to film scores, luxury brand activations, and international music festivals, our journey has been powered by purpose and pride.
We’ve performed for the Queen’s Golden Jubilee, scored soundtracks for Disney, and inspired global audiences with the rich, vibrant spirit of Caribbean steelpan. But at our core, we remain deeply rooted in community.
